Veterinary Access Endowed Scholarship 2017
Dear Vet Med Alumni,
What does it mean to be a Gator? The words “Go Gators” form a bond you can’t find anywhere else. You are reminded of the unforgettable experiences and opportunities being a Gator has provided. Once you’re a Gator, you’re one for life.
Whenever I walk through the halls of the College of Veterinary Medicine, I can feel the energy of Gators around me working together to learn something new and putting it into action. One particular student, Lindsey Hidenrite, Class of 2018 DVM candidate, is experiencing this first-hand.
“I chose UF CVM because it offered both a DVM degree, and a certificate in shelter medicine. As a foster child, school was my only constant. Knowledge became power and helped me learn my true potential. The Paul Nicoletti Florida Opportunity Scholarship enabled me to pursue my dream. No one is ever meant to go it alone and Dr. Nicoletti will forever be a part of my story and my legacy – and so many stories to come.” Lindsey Hidenrite, Class of 2018.

At UF CVM, our students have a unique opportunity to fully immerse themselves inside and outside of the classroom. Growing both personally and professionally, the programs and resources available to students elevate the Gator experience.
As a Gator, you know the work never stops to achieve more, be better and go greater. We greatly appreciate your generosity and hope you will consider making a gift to the UF CVM. Your support will ensure the Gator experience has the ability to make tangible differences that will reach beyond campus.
Renew your gift and be a Gator game changer. Thank you and go Gators,
James W. Lloyd, DVM, PhD
