Team VetMed Celebrates 20th Anniversary
Dust off your bike and buy new shorts – get ready for the Team VetMed 20th anniversary ride on Sunday, October 22, 2017. The Gainesville Cycling Club presents the Horse Farm Hundred ride through beautiful Alachua and Marion Counties. Ride distances vary from 102, 57, 45, 30, 25 Miles. See more info: http://gccfla.org/gcf/index.html You rode it before, can you do it again?
We’re challenging all former riders to come back and be a part of Team VetMed one more time.
Here are 4 ways YOU can support Team VetMed:
- Ride with Team VetMed and get your friends and family to sponsor you!
- Sponsor a student to ride;
- Can’t ride, buy a custom designed jersey for a $100 donation;
- Better yet, sponsor the team and get your hospital logo on the jersey back.

Why should I join Team VetMed?
The Team Vet Med has a cycling group and a running group, that are designed to facilitate communication between students, faculty, staff and friends with the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine.
Since 1997 students, faculty, and staff, alumni, and friends have come together to ride and raise money for DVM scholarships. Every year TVM challenges its members to ride the Horse Farm Hundred, an exciting 100 miles (or less) bicycle ride through beautiful Ocala horse farm country.
Team Vet Med also participates in various runs and rides to support causes like giving blood (5pts of Life); organ donation (Katie’s ride); and Alzheimer’s (Ride to Remember), and Breast Cancer Awareness (Pink Pumpkin).
